Shyam Sundar Saraswati Vidyalaya Intermediate College Ayodhya

The commencement of this pioneer institution took place through the efforts of geography lecturer, (Forbs Inter College, Reedganj, Faizabad) Sri Mahadev Prasad Verma (Srivastava) on June 28, 1932 at the residence of Babu Triloki Nath Srivastava, Leader, Dilkusha (at present-Dhara Road, Faizabad). The first meeting was held in the guidance of Sri N. N. Dutta.

The nomination of the college was on the name of goddess of knowledge mother Veenavadini Saraswati and the college came into existence on July 4, 1993 from the class III. The first student of the college was Ganesh Prasad Srivastava S/o Shri Hathai Prasad R/o Mahajani Tola, Faizabad. The first study and teaching in the college began on September 28, 1932 in a proper way at Angooribagh in Raja Sahab, Peerpur Bhawan with the name of Anglo Vernacular Saraswati Vidyalaya.

Attested T.C. (Transfer Certificate) of just last class will be submitted necessarily during the admission time. Attested marksheet of last class along with it is also compulsory.
During the admission, the declared and decided fee of U.P. Government/College, must be deposited at the fixed time.
At the time of re-admission the presence of guardian is complusary. Guardian must come with the readmission form and written statement and decided readmission fee otherwise readmission will not be possible.
At the time of admission, the presence of mother/father is compulsory.
Without proper application/information, if the student is absent, he will be penalised or his name may be struck off.
The admission in the class XI will be temporary. After declaration of board results, they will have to submit photostate copy of high school marksheets along with T.C. compulsorily with in 15 days otherwise name may be struck off.
If the student is absent, he will be penalised according to the decision taken by parent-teacher association in the P.T.A. meeting and his name may be struck off.
In the beginning of the session in the month of April, the attendance of Ist three days of the students is compulsory.
